We are thrilled to announce that we have received our first purchase request from a pear farmer in Chiba Prefecture! 🎉This milestone signifies the growing interest from farmers across Japan in our farmer-support robot, Adam. Our technology is proving its capability to support fruit farmers of all sizes and regions, enhancing efficiency and productivity in diverse agricultural settings.During the conversation with the farmer, he remarked that it's getting harder and harder to find aid and part-time workers to support his farm. Even for farmers who live in convenient areas close to big cities it is hard, but there are many farmers who live further away, which compounds the difficulties. The other day, Shigehara-san, a partner of ours and one of our favorite Persimmon farmers from Toyohashi, tested out a new use-case for Adam: spraying pinpoint fertilizer in follow mode. Rather than carry the heavy equipment and liquid on his back, he was able to load everything onto Adam, and walk around freely, without burden and without needing to go back to refill multiple times. Farmers are innovators. Mid-way through the trial, we noticed that the rope would sag, which restricted rotation ability.
