Stand up! Vanguard!

Hey guys! It’s Serena and I thought it was a good time to give you guys an updated deck profile for my girl, Feltyrosa! We’ve covered her a couple times now. If you need a refresher, Feltyrosa is a Lyrical Monastario deck built around swarming with Ghosts units from the deck via Felty’s drive checks, and including some new, very powerful support from the first Lyrical set in the Divinez era! If you want a refresher, you can find my last update article on the deck here.

As we have before, we’re running the Feltyrosa rideline, with Admired Dear Sister, Feltyrosa as our starter. There’s Beautiful Day Off, Feltyrosa for our grade one and Talent of Enjoyment, Feltyrosa for our grade 2. Lastly, this time around we’ve swapped out the original grade 3 Feltyrosa for Rondo of Plenilune, Feltyrosa, who we were running in the main deck last time, but some of the new support combined with her ability to conserve our Counterblasts over the original is why we swapped over.

Our grade 1s are all familiar faces. We have 4 Night Sky Searing Divertimento, Ortrud to help clear our circles and draw cards, 2 Join Grasp, Ernesta as a restander that can either attack herself or boost, and our 4 Perfect Guards in Nocturne of Flickering Lambency, Judith. As with many decks you can choose to use an Elementaria Sanctitude, but I personally prefer the 4th Judith as that minimizes Feltyrosa’s chance of whiffing on her drive check skill.

On to our grade 2s, I’ll start us off with one of the new additions to the deck, Moon Adorning Partita, Aloisia, which is one of the reasons we’re more free to use the updated Felty in the ride deck. On place, Aloisia lets us put a Feltyrosa card from our drop into the soul while we have a Feltyrosa vanguard. Also on attack she gains 5k and we can choose a Feltyrosa from soul and add it to hand, and if we did, we retire Aloisia, allowing us to set up a persona ride for the next turn. Next are all old friends, with 2 Traumerei or Grazing Hands, Roswitha, 4 Canon of Overlaid-spinning, Dietlinde, and 2 copies of Dedicated Serenade, Eleonore.

With our grade 3s we have a copy of one of the few Lyrical cycler cards that is a ghost, Moon-nesting Fantasia, Adelheid, who has a few things she can do. First when your opponent checks a trigger, Adelheid gets 10k power and 10k shield. Second, at the end of the battle she attacked while boosted, you can Soulblast 1 choose the unit that boosted her, and return it to the hand, then you can remove the Overtrigger from your drop to choose a card of a grade less than or equal to your vanguard from hand and call it, meaning she also can enable another (possibly 6th) attack in one turn. Next we have 2 copies of another new face, Through the Starry Skies, Irmhild, who can restand a back-row rearguard and give it +5k, then Irmhild puts herself into soul. Next is Felty’s best friend, Capriccio of Circulating Star, Ingrid, at 4 copies, as she’s long been one of the best rearguards for the deck. Then we have our 3 persona rides of Rondo of Plenilune, Feltyrosa and 2 Rondo of Eventide Moon, Feltyrosa rounding out our normal units.

Now, onto our triggers. We have enough cards the draw that we can finally move to 8 crit/3 draw instead of the 4 crit/7 draw we ran before. The only effect trigger I would suggest is Transparent Snowy Night, Beretoi for the extra shield. You can use Precious Tune, Edwige, the effect crit, if you like, but I find that normal crits work just fine, but 4 of your crits should absolutely be Glutton, Nora and your 4 heals should similarly be Languid Relaxation, Marguerite as they are ghosts and can be recycled from drop with the ride line. Rounding out my list is my 4 RAISE A SUILEN, PAREO for crits and the final new card, the ‘purple OT’, Spiritual King of Nightsky, Nyxlaszelia. Nyxy here has the additional effect of putting a card from our damage zone into hand, then calling a unit from hand and giving it 10k power, ready for another attack.

All in all, I’m enjoying the deck a lot with these upgrades, and it’s aggression is a lot stronger now. You can find the decklist on the official deck log.

I hope you all enjoy it, too! I’ll catch you all next time, but for now, I wanna give a shout out to my friend, Ender, who is always kind enough to help me proofread these!

Serena, signing out!
Final Turn!
